I am a maker at heart. I piece together different tools and technologies to birth new Promethian creations that bring value, ease, and even joy to life.
I have dedicated this page to showcase some of my favorite work contributions throughout my career as a software developer. With a span of over 6 years, I have worked with some great companies, mentors, and peers to develop iOS mobile applications for various industries within the Internet of Things. Â My curiosity of the world and its workings has driven me by the question of how does it work? In my process of answering this question, I learn new information that I document and incorporate into my daily work and life in general.
I develop software using native iOS and third party APIs for various Apple devices. I have worked with large teams on applications that are used by millions of people, have developed an app for clinical trials while communicating directly with executives, and have developed a range of creative personal projects using both software and hardware. While working at Cue Health I was made Subject Matter Expert of iOS and Android Mobile Applications after working there for only six months. At Ford Motor Company, I interviewed and trained new candidates, formulated new demo teams to work on cross-platform testing, and had the opportunity to work on the prototype application for the Ford Mustang Mach-E Electric.Â

Cue Health App
Most recently, I worked as an iOS Product Developer, Subject Matter Expert, and Document Approver for FDA Submissions at Cue, Inc. Cue, Inc, is a biomedical company, that was on the forefront of COVID-19 testing and Virtual Connect with real Doctors. I worked on the main Cue Health app, and shortly after was promoted to manage the critically important Clinical Trial project. Here I worked closely with firmware engineers, doctors, designers, testers and product managers, to write code for the iOS app that used by real human trial participants. Results of this test were important for getting FDA approvals to add new tests that expanded Cue’s lineup. Due to the nature of this work I was working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other top brass and executives.
I also trained new hires and authored and maintained multiple resource documents.

Ford Motor Company offers a range of premium luxury vehicles under the Lincoln brand. During my time with Lincoln, I was working as an iOS developer adding cool new features to their flagship mobile app – Lincoln Way® the premium vehicle connectivity app. I started working on the Phone As A Key feature where an authorized user’s phone is able to act as a key by offering remote and keyless functionalities which utilize BLE (bluetooth) and network connectivity over cellular or wifi.
Working on small cross platform development team, I dealt on a day to basis with dedicated testers and designers under a project manager. This was my first experience with IoT technology at an industrial scale.
Being a premium vehicle product, its required from the app to be extra responsive and offer premium features unmatched to its class segment. I was writing test driven code in swift and UIKit with several frameworks such as RXSwift and other cutting edge tools.

My work here must be used by several proud owners of the iconic Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford’s favorite workhorse F-150 truck. Fordpass just like its cousin LincolnWay App, connects, controls and interacts with the vehicle using bluetooth BLE and Cellular/WiFi. This product is used by millions of users across the Americas, Europe, Asia, China, and Australia.
Similar to the work I first did at its cousin LincolnWay App, I delivered responsive code that helped create a zipping fast user experience. I worked in a smaller cross platform team with integrated designers, testers and dedicated managers. Along my work as a developer, I also helped mentor some new hires and peers on different teams.
My work in this company helped me become a better developer.
Fordpass App

This system brings together my multidisciplinary experience as a maker, utilizing different tools required for full stack development of an IoT virtual assistant system that is happy to take over your tasks in physical and virtual space.
Ramu is the name of the control system made for iOS mobile devices. This app is intended to assist user as a companion, control center and dashboard to all the connected devices. Everything interacts using BLE bluetooth and Cellular or Wifi, giving secure access from anywhere.
Development of this app is under KreyEZ, LLC. And rights for this or any app developed for this company belong to me and the company.

Aurora
This app originated out of the necessity I feel to make drone flying safer. There are flight calculators for airlines and pilots for manned aircrafts. However for smaller UAV aircrafts flying in micro airspaces there is a lot of missing info that a drone pilot may need for a safer and more enjoyable experience.
I also missed the UI of the app Dark Sky, that sadly no longer exists. So, I decided to marry the above two needs into one. I created an app that tells me vital, real time info for a safer and more enjoyable drone flight, with a UI inspired by some of my favorite elements from the Dark Sky app. Using the Aurora app, I can plan my flights with ease and better plan for future flights.

This app was developed for my color fiend wife, Olivia who requested I name an app after her. This app has a mini game for her to enjoy and a useful tool for my photography needs.
Initially I made this app a couple of years ago and it was called Lumo Chroma. The orignal app was intended to provide different color screens and brightness to paint in 3D space utilizing the B-mode of a DSLR camera.
Adding to this app, the mini game challenges the player with a randomly generated color on screen that the player would attempt to match as accurately as possible using the RGB sliders.
If the player likes a color, they can save it to use later use for light painting or another creative endeavor.

My first project after finishing Graduate School, I worked with a small team of graduate students from multiple disciplines and countries, developing an event hosting and chat app.
Working as a freelancer, with several developers scattered across timezones and countries posed a unique set of challenges that I was unaware of right of the school. However, this exposure laid the foundations for understanding how to work with multiple people in a team and timezones in order to achieve a common goal.
